Our work is not done until you're completely satisfied with your logo. If you're not satisfied with the work we produce, you may request a refund before the first round of revisions (subject to a $99 administrative fee). 

Designs and customization

It is important to realize that when buying a design from StartPal, the money collected on any design is used for administrative efforts and is NOT a sale on the actual design itself.  We are obligated not to sell individual designs as per our license agreement with independent providers and vendors, both public and private.

License

You are granted non-exclusive rights to use the design when buying through our website.

Modifications

You are granted permission to make any necessary modifications to fit your purpose.

Limited Usage

You are permitted to use each design once on a single website only, belonging to either you or your client. You are required to purchase the same template again in order to work on another project with the same layout.

Return Policy on Website Design Packages

If you're not absolutely satisfied with the website we produce you for you, you may request a refund within 3 days after the first concept is delivered, or before the first round of revisions.  Refunds may be subject to an administrative fee of $75.

Unauthorized Use

You are not allowed to resell any design work provided by StartPal (modified or unmodified) without prior written permission.

Removal of co-branding

Ownership

You are not permitted to claim intellectual or exclusive ownership over any of the designs, modified or unmodified. All products are property of independent providers. Our designs are provided "as is." We hold no liability, in any jurisdiction, for damages arising out of the use or inability to use our designs.

Customization Process

Our design team will work with you to customize your design. The details of these packages can be found on the website design packages page, located on the left hand side of the menu.  You will typically be expected to communicate with your project manager via e-mail through the entire customization process, although phone is offered when clarification or help is needed.  While we make every effort to meet the timelines and deadlines we set, we make no warranty or guarantee, written or expressed otherwise.  The amount of complexity and functionality desired in your project may cause the actual time to vary.

International & Domestic Support

In the event that you are not located in the United States, you are considered an International Client, and the primary method of communication will be e-mail.  We make no guarantee that phone will be a viable option of communication, however, we may be able to use alternative methods of VoIP software, such as Skype, for communicating on difficult issues, emergencies, and pre-sales questions.

Liability

Under no circumstances, including, but not limited to, negligence, shall we be liable for any special or consequential damages that result from the use of, or the inability to use, the materials in this site, even if we or our authorized representative has been advised of the possibility of such damages.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend and hold harmless StartPal, its officers, directors, employees, agents, licensors, suppliers and any third party information providers to the Service from and against all losses, expenses, damages and costs, including reasonable attorneys' fees, resulting from any violation of this Agreement (including negligent or wrongful conduct) by you or any other person accessing the Service.

By purchasing a product from StartPal, LLC, or any of its partners and subsidiaries (including other DBAs), you agree that your buying decision is not based on any testimonial or referral, verbal or written, or otherwise communicated differently.

StartPal SystemEngine™ is built on Joomla! technology, and is collectively defined as a package of (a) StartPal's customization services, (b) StartPal's selection, installation and setup of components, modules, and installers, (c) series of code changes, updates, improvements, and tweaks performed on the underlying engine and all installed portions, and finally, (d) all pre-configured settings, such as sections, categories, content items, and SQL database dumps.

Joomla! is property of Open Source Matters and is released under the GNU General Public License, and Joomla! is not partnered with or otherwise connected or related to StartPal.  StartPal does not claim intellectual or actual ownership over the core Joomla! Content Management System (CMS), and distributes it freely to its clients.  Any fees assessed for making an existing website compatible for use with SystemEngine™ are generated based on the amount of labor, time, and costs involved in the conversion process, and not on the software itself.
